Mendis

Mendis has taken 2/16 so far.

So far being the key words here. He might just have another trick up his sleeve.

Kolkata will now know for certain that they should have played him earlier. Still, better late than never.

    Yusuf Pathan just blew Mendis away in that bowl out over. Incredible match. Ganguly must be kicking himself getting out in the last over. What an opportunity lost. IPL 2 has come alive. Two amazing matches with this one being the best now.

    Yesterday has produced some of the best cricket played so far.

    So much as you hate this format and the money it spins, it wasn't at all easy to get the eye off for a moment.

    Whoever asked Mendis to bowl the super over to Pathan had forgottten the India-SL series this year.
    On another issue, which of the numerous captains ... I mean, strategists, is accountable for a tactical mistake by KKR?

    12th, those were the matches we've been waiting for the past week. Hopefully we see more of those close matches from now on in.
