Okay, so I'm sort of partial to this one. Morne's almost funny.
The photo was after the ODI series in Australia, when Albie rather embarrassingly crawled up steps to get to Mark Nicholas in order to accept his award.
If I'm not wrong Q, that usually gets split with the team. DLF maximum sixes... $2000 Man of the Match for an IPL match... $2000 Getting a photo with Morne Morkel after winning a series... priceless.
Sigh. As do I, but the way he's looking, he's either not going to get a bat in when he's in form, or he's going to fail miserably when the team does need him.
And his bowling has been far from perfect. Disappointing.
U get $10,000 for man of the series? Seriously!?

Ach, that depends on team policy...i'm not sure if all teams follow that...
ReplyDeleteI don't know why it matters. Obviously Albie wouldn't share his hard-earned glory with skulking team mates.
ReplyDeleteAs Miley Cyrus once said: "Duh!"
I hope he atleast wins a man of the match in the IPL.

Aw, that is such a cute photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is top notch lurking in the background by Morne. I'd give him the cheque for a quality effort.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to ruin Albie's money shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd not in that way, no.
At least Morne was nice enough to carry his brother around after the presentation though.

I'm guessing he thought ruining Albies money shot could be his repayment
