The boy has a sense of humour. Speaking to The Mirror, he had a little to say about his T20 performances:
"Funny chap," hordes of Englishmen chuckle over their morning paper. That's more like it, an English cricketer not believing he can play well. This is what the fans want."I'm not very good at Twenty20 cricket, am I?"
I'm just glad I didn't have to actually listen to KP as he said this or I might not find it quite so funny. Whenever he talks, something inside me dies and I find myself squirming at the sound of his voice.
But KP is about to show even more of his comedian side when talking about the IPL:
"I made a great captain didn't I? We won two out of six when I was there and then Anil Kumble took over and they got to the final."
A failure as captain, the fans will love that even more.
He's not very good at T20, is he?
Don't worry Ames. If a part of you dies everytime he speaks, I'm certain I bring those parts back to life.

News from SA: ROFL almost drowned during a training session in Durban. I am not kidding! They were in teams of 4. ROFL with JP, Steyn & GS. They decided ROFL should swim the 300m. (I bet you if Botha was in his team he would have gone after and saved him.) Here's the link, sadly its in Afrikaans.

ReplyDeleteBoncam, I think that was the sound of me screaming "nooooo". The death of ROFL would be terrible. I don't understand what you mean by making him swim 300m. Can't he swim that far?
I think they had to do a kind of triathlon thing. Some were running from the hotel to the beach, others were in a canoe and fuckface Graeme decided ROFL should do the swimming, its about 3.5km I am sure he can swim, GS & JP are coastal guys while ROFL is from the highlands, anyway the current was just too strong and he started going under. He was saved by a lifeguard who didnt even took the chance of swimming, he canoed over.

ReplyDeleteBut otherwise, I wouldn't know who to put my money on. Probably all of them, that's the kind of thing Graeme would do.
But if you look at GS on Twitter (*cough*) he seems to have a history with Prince Henry too.
Graeme seems to have eyed off or attacked almost every national and domestic south african cricketer and anyone in any other team his has played in (IPL, African XI etc). Any picture website will just add confusion as to who he prefers.

ReplyDeleteI think that Smith fancies AB big time but as Amy has said would be just a trifle jealous of him. I've seen other pics of him and Pienaar together at functions and I haven't seen the ad so that would be just further confirmation but I don't think he can resist anyone. The worst two pics were of him on top of AB and then JP.
