The Moment Saeed Ajmal Was Done For

Ducking Beamers has posted the video in which Ajmal's bowling action is first questioned, by none other than Shane Watson:

Watching Watson try to play spin makes me feel very squeamish.

Watson was complaining abt uit throughout to the umpires. He even said "thrower" as he walked back in the 2nd ODI.. I cud hear him in the photographers area, which is right next to the Aussie dressing room. Am sure he / Aussies complained. As they did about Botha.

My view.. if Murali can bowl, anyone can!

Why it is always the Australians calling someone a chucker? I don't think of any other opposition doing it.

If they can't pick a spinner, they call him a chucker i guess.

Q, wow, they're really starting to whine now. I guess all the comments about not being able to play spin are getting to them. But that's just stupid.

12th, unfortunately, we are a little like that. It's just some sort of God complex Aussies have.

Its kinda tough being a finger spinner these days.
Flat pitches, heavy bats, the works
i've tried to explain the chucking law on my blog,
feel free to make any suggestions or corrections, i'll be glad to put it up.

Hey Prafs, will check it out no problem.

ha!ha! Whining Aussies - have taken over whining duties from the POMS. "Cant play spinner? Call him a chucker" - official motto of the least human, most idiotic, spineless, shameless bunch of jackasses - in other words, the Australian Cricket team

Raj, I'm sensing some pent up hostility here...

Raj, so I can pass that message onto Roy then? haha.

It's sad how the leading nation in cricket get so up tight when someone does something they themselves can't.

I admire Australian cricket in most ways but this is just sad.

Well, to an extent yes, but I think if they were going to do that, they'd find a problem with everyone's bowling. Afridi did well against them but they couldn't find a way to criticise him.

I understand where you're coming from, and in some ways I agree because I know how obnoxious our cricketers can get, but as long as it's not a race issue the idea has some merit to it. I don't think they blame bowlers willy nilly, but they have found fault with a number of bowlers over the years.

Noo Amy. I was specifically talking about things the Aussies can't do like the doosra. Afridi bowls what the Aussies can do i.e leg spin and googlies with the odd conventional off break and a 125 kph kinder surprise. Hence they have no issue because they can find someone to do it too unlike the doosra.

Being the best, they let themselves down by not being appreciative of skills other nations have.

Uncle Saquy has offered to help though. After all, the guy invented the delivery so CA should take him up on his offer.

I don't think this particular issue was race related....not from the Aussies anyway. The ICC however, that's another story.

Alright, I can see where you're coming from there. I think that's part of the reason, and the other part is just plain suspicion at the action.

But you do have it right there.

Wow. You're cool.

I do try to keep myself as cool as a cucumber, thank you.
