Way to go, Baz

Out first ball to KP. That's how you do it.

When Kevin Pietersen opens the bowling, you don't give him a wicket. It's the dishonourable thing to do. Brendon McCullum thought otherwise.

Maybe Bangalore will scrape a win in today. If ROFL's half the dangerous bowler he was against Australia, Kolkata might fall. But then again, Australia have proven themselves to be terrible at playing spin, and ROFL may turn out to be the most ordinary bowler yet. I don't think so, but it remains to be seen.

Ah, and now Brad Hodge goes. Kumble's spin proves too much for our compatriots.

oh Baz, that's an epic failure!

Yay for ROFL getting a game. Got to love the crazy fool.

I don't know why Australian inability to play spin is more accentuated these days than ever. I don't think they ever played spin this bad.

They never have. It'd almost ridiculous how strangely weak they're suddenly looking in the face of spin. It's not rocket science, it's spin, and we've always played it well enough to not warrant special interest in it.

Mark my word, lack of quality spinner in their domestic circuit is going to plague Australian cricket for years to come. When Afridi gets six-for, you know there is a serious problem somewhere.

So KKR lose again. I just read the full management list of KKR. They have more managers and coaches than players - literally. Its party time for the so called support staff. Can't blame Mcullum for his loss of form.

Well you can't leave him as well. Well all the expensive big shots are proving like American houses hard to buy worth a shit after couple of months. Brad Hodge atleast bowled well but Mcullum you beauty you are not going to score as many run in the entire IPL2 as you have scored in the first match of IPL1. What a shame!!! just saw Duminy hitting a fifty but couldn't score a boundary for Mumbai Indians in the last 2 overs . Hopefully Rajasthan will beat the hell out of Chennai tomorrow which will give so many people something to cheer about

Som, I think the Australian camp is only just beginning to understand the repercussions of their all round spin problem. It's a bit of a scary thought.

Rayden, if what "someone" says is to be believed, McCullum even offered to step down as captain before the match.

Indophile, I'm shocked. Chennai will beat the crap out of Rajasthan. Hopefully.

RR vs CSK..............

that's going to be good

But I am more interested in DD vs DC.....

Now that's a match

Amy said...

RR vs. CSK will only be good if CSK don't fail miserably.

But Deccan vs. Delhi is going to be a close one.

Amy, you still believe in CSK? I mean, against Warne? Warne will have Hayden for lunch and dinner, and Hayden is the only guy performing for CSK. I am sorry but I'd advice you not to watch the match and suffer another disappointment.
Deccan vs Delhi - Sehwag has a history of screwing up against Aussie-led strong teams. For a shrewd cricketer, he often fails to grasp some basic truths of the day on pitch or bowlers etc. And the way he and GG are batting, DD will be pulverised by DC. At the best, DC wil win a close match. Mark my words, DD are not going to beat DC today.

My heart is heavy when I say Chennai will hopefully win. It's that feeling you get when there's little chance of your wishes coming true.

I'm still going to watch it. I'm a glutton for pain, apparently.
