Warm-up matches and other irrelevant stuff

South Africa beat Pakistan.
Australia beat Bangladesh.
New Zealand beat India (hahahaha, yay)
And Ireland beat the Netherlands in a Super Over.

That's Super stuff. Apparently Dirk was the best Dutch bowler there. Well, yeah.

New Zealand continue their Twenty20 reign over India. I do like the Black Caps. I wouldn't mind if they won the tournament either.

But I will tell you something about the South Africa match. AB is run out for 2, in comes Albie and hello 32 RUNS. Hahahaha. Off 14 balls as well. But then again, it was against Pakistan. Don't give a shit. Albie is going to beat everyone to the ground this tournament. I can tell.

I put a word in for you Ames. It was my special gift for as appreciation for telling the world about my bitchy bastardness for one whole week. I told Younis to give Albie a break...that there's no honour in beating a man with a girl's name.

Since it was just a warm up, he agreed.

We all square Mungo woman?

About time Albie did something. Poor AB run out, all a conspiracy. The gay man Smithy made some runs but apparently the Pakistanis bowled shyte tripe.

Just cos you missed out on the orange and mid green extravaganza.

Dirk was out bowled by Boyd - loved every minute! But then i like a good colour clash myself. India / NZ just not enough colour contrast - and the India fans are a bit 'only singing if they are winnin!' fantastic - ha they deserved it - Ishant was lovely tho :)

I think the practice matches count for little though. Can Albie make runs against the Scots?

Stani, funny, I'd actually just gotten off the phone telling Albie to give Pakistan a break.

Dawid, no they bowled so marvellously well that only Albie could break through their defences. Ignore Graeme's 70 and what I'm saying will suddenly seem so much more true. By the way, AB had it coming for him.

SSE, Boyd is getting pretty awesome there. I wouldn't know who to support.

Anon, hahahaha.

Albie hit Umar Gul for 3 consecutive sixes! How!??

I told him to. Sorry.

I love watching Albie when he is in full flow.

Don't worry, he's still got plenty left in him. This is already going to plan.

- Ajit Agarkar gives you a disapproving nod.

Thank God India lost the warm up game. India cannot even win against Bangladesh if they are overconfident. But we always do well in any tournament if we had a trashing just before. Now only if we lost to Pakistan in the next game, we will be well on our way to winning the world cup.

In any case, they certainly have the team to win. Still, don't you think it would be some sort of miracle if New Zealand translated some of their semi-final positions into actual tournament wins?

Actually Ames, that was me. I had stolen Albies phone because I knew you'd phone her.

Worked a treat.

Ajit Agarkar watches in mute silence. He prefers the old-school form of communication - pigeons.

Ajit Agarkar is not amused and hurls a 70 km/h toe-crushing yorker at you which goes awfully wide, as usual.
