How Dhoni Went Bonkers

That's not a word I like to say often, but I do believe I have a rather compelling case to prove my point. Ahead of the World T20, it's not the best thing to have a crazy captain, but unfortuately India will have to make do with what they've got. And now the evidence to that effect:

Exhibit A: MSD on LSD

If he isn't a lunatic who's just escaped from an asylum, Tendulkar isn't a better batsman than Ricky Ponting.

Exhibit B: MSD talks gibberish

"Being defending champions doesn't put any additional pressure on us. It's just an add-on pressure that we can handle."

What's that? It's not additional pressure, it's just add-on pressure. Did Dhoni mistake his thesaurus for a book of antonyms?

This is all ahead of India leaving for England to join the T20 party. I fear for them, I really do. Whatever will they do with a deranged captain like that?

Well, you sure seem to have messed with our captain :-). I was kind of suspecting it ever since he called Leela "didiji" :-)

What he said:

"Being defending champions doesn't put any additional pressure on us. It's just an add-on pressure that we can handle."

What he meant:

"Being defending champions doesn't put any additional pressure on us that we can't handle. It's just an add-on pressure that we can handle." (driving the point home!)

When did English prowess (or rather the lack of it) become a litmus test of captain's mental sanity?

MSD is one of the best captains around. Not convinced? Ask that to Haydo. Some more respect, can we?

LSD? I think he earns more than enough for a line or two of cocaine every other day...

Hell, he could actually recreate the "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" trip (;)) every weekend and still have enough left to drink himself blind on weekdays...

But he is going to lead India to its second consecutive T20 World Cup title because... he is.. The Mule.

it's a part of lalit's mega plan. now that bollywood's taken, hollywood's the next.

Raj, I have a vague idea of what that means and if it does indeed mean "sister", then that is a very odd thing I must say.

Fool, now now, don't get upset. The posts are clearly in good spirit.

Alok, you can't mentionm Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas without immediately bringing to mind the image of Johnny Depp. And to then have to associate that with Dhoni is even stranger. Hahaha.

Crownish, if only Hollywood whored itself out quite so easily. But MSD as the Joker is a hilarious mental image. And also disturbing.

I just had an interesting thought. Forget the Joker, doesn't Dhoni look a hell of a lot like the Green Goblin from Spiderman?

Amy,

He looks bad!
First that video, then this photo. Clearly a bad day to be a MSD fan.

Fark, no you don't. It makes you see strange things.

Leela, yes indeed he does. The ups and downs of Dhoni, I suppose.

God that reminded me of actor Vikram in the movie Kasi. Are they twins? Don't believe me? Look at this...
