Albie, you son of a gun

Did you see him bowl? Did you? Did you see him almost get Graeme Smith out first ball? Did you? DID YOU THEN SEE HIM GET OJHA OUT? Hahaha.

By the way Raj, I said I'd dedicate a post to you when Chennai won. Here it is. I hope you convert sometime soon because Chennai are likely to go to the semis and beat the crap out of every other team. Woohoo.

So Morne had been sent off and Shane Harwood brought in, a tactic to allow Badrinath to hit a mammoth over off him. That was funny, wasn't it? The Badri Assault, not to mention Haydos facing off Warnie and coming out the winner. So maybe he got out to Warnie, but he still hit him for six. Good times.

2 out of 2 for Chennai. That's looking good, considering they couldn't face Rajasthan last year.

Chennai were so good they didn't even need Dhoni or Albie to bat. Oram came in, and in the field he did some good work. Actually, they all did good work in the field, especially Raina. I've said this before but his weirdly shaped head is so much more endearing now.

So much for Chennai not being able to chase well. TAKE THAT, WARNIE. Chennai win... in your face.

Note: I'm choosing not to mention that highly disturbing over by Albie. My subconscious is helping me block it out.

Totally predicatable result this one. Raj has a weak lineup and Chennai should have been able to account for them pretty easily. Hayden continues to dominate, while Albie continues to prove he's a poor investment money wise with expensive bowling and he's yet to do anything with the bat.

Smith doesn't bat powerfully enough for pro-20 and he can't play spin.

I've just seen a video clip on youtube of Smith poking Morne Morkel in the arse. I think that confirms the rumours once and for all about him batting for the other team. I wonder how Warnie copes with that.

Cover Point clip was posted about a year ago. It was during an ODI in Bangladesh. Who cares if he bats for the other team?

According to Wiki answers on the net, Smith is gay but nobody gives a fig.

Willem, RR actually could have won the match easily if their key players had all gotten firing. Sometimes it really is a matter of Yusuf Pathan. And as for Albie, okay so his bowling is a bit like the saffa allrounders of the '90s, but he can bat better than most. He either doesn't get the chance or comes in when too much is expected of him and there's little time to settle in.

CP, Graeme is touchy-feely with everyone. It's quite disturbing. You might remember the photo in which he has AB pinned on the ground. Yeah, disturbing.

DC, I think perhaps Chelsy cares. Haha.

I thought Chelsy what's her name had hooked up with someone else. Dan Phipson they reckon. I've seen Smith pin AB and Duminy to the ground. No doubt about it, as they say he bats for the other team. He should just come out. I reckon living in CT where there's a big pink $ or should that be rand? - will work for him.

Why did Warney drop Morne????????Serves him right. He's better than Albie yet the runt gets picked every match and poor Morne has to bide his time.

And I thought it was common knowledge that Smith was gay Amy S., you see it written all over the internet.

With Smith the more pertinent point is that he never makes runs. Hayden has shown him up big time during this IPL.Matt has had a stellar tournament while fat Graeme has barely made a run. Failed miserably again last night with the bat.

Methinks Smith, not Hayden is the one who should have retired in recent months.

South African fans are sick of his non-scoring ways.

DC, if only I could stay up to date with the goings on of Chelsy Davy. Too bad.

MISOAS, did I ever imply not? And by the way, Albie is so much better a T20 player than Morne, no joke. It's almost sad seeing Morne consistently struggle against aggressive batsmen.

CL, are you sure? He makes the runs for his country. That's when it counts. The IPL is just, in the words of Julio, a holiday.

Chennai look good for the title, don't we?

What kind of a sunday is this, with KKR playing one game and BRC the other!

A very mellow Sunday. They seem to have taken into account some of us have had a long week and can't deal with jumpy nerves.

And Chennai can actually bowl this year. Exciting stuff, might get them through to the finals.

I don't think that Chennai's bowling is that good. Albie is not up to opening the bowling and yet he does. I see where Warney dropped his giant dopey brother again.

OH and I didn't realise that Graeme Smith is gay. That's a bit of a wow news type of story. I must pass that around.

He's gay in the way AB is straight.

As for Chennai's bowling, it's not great for sure, but it's a marked improvement on last year. Jakati and Raina seem to be doing far better than most people expected.

I think Chennai's batting is way better than their bowling; I like the strength of their batting.

What does Amy mean about "He's gay in the way AB is straight?"

Is AB straight anyway?

Amy and the rest of the CSK brigade, just wanted to say that I havent disappeared after yesterday's beating. Just wanted to say that it is too early to be having last laughs. The last laugh will be had by the captain who lifts the IPL 2009 trophy. That man will be Warne. Basically, he is just lulling Chennai into over-confidence this year so if/when they meet in the knockout stages, he can unfurl his magic and bury CSK :-)

PSK said...

This will go the same way as last year's IPL .. except with a ROLE REVERSAL.... Chennai beating Rajasthan in both the league matches and in the FINAL.

Test matches at night, interesting name there. I mean that AB comes across as more gay than Graeme, because he doesn't flaunt his women. He doesn't even seem to have any, actually.

Raj, what PSK said.

Test matches at night said...

So you're saying that Graeme flaunts his women( I haven't seen one since Minki) to prove he's straight, yet he's actually gay?

DC said...

Sounds like a few of the Proteas are sus.

Amy said...

TMAN, no, not at all... It made sense at the time, and it still does, but we're misunderstanding each other a whole lot.

Suffice to say that in actuality, Graeme is not gay. Nor is AB, because he probably finds it immoral. But there's a whole lot of photographic evidence which seems to prove otherwise.

Okay.

I think religion is the only thing holding AB back from his true sexual calling (insert smilie)

I really like you, Anonymous.
