D/L does it again

I watched the first half hour of this match, but then felt death sinking upon me and fell asleep. Shame, apparently dear Duckworth and Lewis have ensured their legacy remains for years to come.

But looking over the scorecard, I'm highly disturbed by Albie's economy rate of 12.00. What the fuck, was he trying to hand the match over to Punjab? DICKHEAD.

As usual, Raina has pulled through in both his batting and bowling. How I am liking his oddly shaped head more and more these days.

My only problem is that Sreesanth got Hayden's wicket when he could have gone on to beat AB's 105*. I saw some highlights, his ridiculous celebrations after the wicket are well deserving of a visit from Harbhajan. Someone send Bhaji around to Sreesanth's room. Thanks.

Chennai narrowly escape a loss and now head to the top of the table.

KKR, DD and now CSK, we all know the weathergod is not a Punjabi.

I feel for them, I really do. But they should also be aware this is punishment for having Sreesanth on the team. There can be no other explanation.

Ah! The weather gods rob Yuvraj again. This victory doesnt count, Amy. Doesnt count. Wait for the return match where Yuvraj's boys will whip Albie and co.

for a team that has so many good players, Kings always make a hash of things. beats me how.
OK yesterday CSK wiped the floor with them, but Kings have lost a lot of games after being in a good position. Semi's are a distant dream now.
CSK and DD look like the two finalists.

unless, they meet in the semis

In which case, it would be a very close match and would probably hinge on whether Chennai can rip apart the Delhi batting order and smash their bowlers to bits.

Raj, after so many losses, surely you've come to your senses and embraced Chennai?

Amy, No way. There's always Warne, who'll outwit Dhoni. Still, I am backing KXI and Gilly's DC as well to stay above Chennai. It's going to be Gilchrist vs Warne in the finals, for sure. Chennai may reach the semi-finals. Thats the best they can hope for.

At times, Dhoni seems to attract all the luck. I know there's stronger teams than Chennai, and you've named some, but Dhoni just keeps on getting lucky. Maybe that extra bit of luck (in addition to a good performance of course) will push them over the top of Warnie's guile.

Amy, let's see that. Warne himself is quite lucky. When does a match get rained out for RR? When they are struggling in the beginning of the tournament, and pretty mighty Chennai are against them, thats when. :-)
When does a match get rained out for Chennai? When the struggling KKR are up against them next, thats when. So, Warne is already 2 points up on Dhoni on pure luck factor. So, even luck favours Warne, Amy. ha!ha! the whole universe is in Warne's favour - CSK just cannot fight that. The force is with Warne.

You're wrong, so wrong. When Chennai win, I'll dedicate a post to you :)
